PRESS RELEASE: AUTISM CAREER PATHWAYS announces 501(c)3 status to increase the employment rates in the neuro-diverse community

Redwood City, CA – April 9, 2020

Autism Career Pathways is very pleased to announce that as of April 8, 2020 it is now officially a nonprofit with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Autism Career Pathways is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, which will further broaden its access to resources and strengthen its ability to provide training and resources to differently-abled job candidates and employers who seek to utilize their unique talents.

“The granting of a nonprofit status to ACP is a major milestone for our fledgling organization, and we are excited to get started developing the tools and resources that any small business can use to assess, hire and manage a neuro-diverse workforce”, remarked founder Maisie Soetantyo

Founded in October of 2019, Autism Career Pathways seeks to educate and empower small-to-medium business owners to hire differently-abled (DA) adults as interns or employees, to provide resources for home grown businesses and workplaces, to create tools and resources that any small business can use to assess, hire and manage employees with differing abilities nationwide and to promote a sense of belonging and a space for personal growth within each workplace through a mentorship curriculum.
