About this event

Join us for a one-of-a-kind career mentoring experience! We have designed a course specifically set to demystify, detail and foster Autistic Entrepreneurship. From self-exploration, building blocks, early planning, decision-making to marketing, this course provides step-by-step, thorough and explicit guide to starting a successful small business by understanding and implementing the strengths and natural abilities of autistic people.

With specific focus and attention applied to neurodivergent needs, special interests & strengths, we have created a personalized road map with which the autistic individual might navigate the occupational landscape with greater ease, positivity, fulfillment and success. Our autistic-created set of classes will feature a multitude of experienced autistic and neurodivergent business owners of all ages and abilities as speakers and panel guests. All will be available for question and answer segments at the end of each class.

Course Syllabus

Classes begin Friday, June 18, 2021, 4-6 PST/7-9 EST with “Special Interests as a Career Foundation” as the opening topic, and will continue with a new topic every other Friday. Upon completion of each class, participants will work on developing their own career building blocks in the provided templates (to be completed individually or with family members). At the end of the ten classes individuals will have a blueprint to guide them towards developing a personalized and fulfilling self-employment opportunity.

Tickets for this Zoom event are $15 per class or $130 for the entire 10-part course set.
