Eric Garcia @ericmgarcia14 will be doing a live Instagram with me tomorrow, Wednesday September 1st at 5 pm PST/8 pm EST on our non profit’s account.
“We’re Not Broken” is not only insightful, but also impactful for an autistic person like me to read. This book makes me understand the past, think about what I can do today and to keep moving forward.
Eric shared his own journey in self acceptance through his family’s and mentors’ support.
In this book, all autistic voices including non-speaking individuals were shared. Chapters thoroughly discussed research backgrounds and autistic people’s stories.
Eric is an openly autistic Latino political journalist, and he loves to travel, meet people. Oh yes, also he also loves music and plays guitar.
