In this three-part seminar series Maisie Soetantyo, M.Ed. will be joined by autistic psychologist Matt Lowry, LPP to talk to parents, professionals and educators on the issue of parenting models for mentoring neurodivergent children. Both diagnosed neurodivergent, and both working with autistic individuals and their families professionally, Matt and Maisie will offer a unique perspective on the autistic experience, and provide parents, professionals and educators with a new way to connect with and nurture individuals on the autism spectrum.
Long-time advocates for a non-behavioral approach to parenting autistic children, Matt and Maisie and discuss the merits of a strengths-based approach that will help Autistic people in ways best suited for their individual needs.
